High Speed Internet..... Despite the fact that we live in a rural part of Rensselaer County, we need modern technology. High speed internet access is increasingly important for gathering information, education, entertainment, online commerce, and to provide a connection to friends and family. I will continue to strive to make this a reality.

Taxes..... Given the current rate of inflation, the ever increasing rise in school taxes and health insurance costs, it is imperative that we hold our property taxes in check. I am pleased to say that over the past 6 years we have been able to accomplish that goal.

Local business..... As a small business owner, and member of the Poestenkill Business Association, I understand the problems facing small businesses. Enterprise is vital to any local economy, and we need to support those present and assist those who may wish to come. I will actively support initiatives that promote sound business growth.
